we just got this stove today after our other one died. frozen pizza baked even and crispy. brownies cooked after the pizza cooked evenly. the window with light on gave a clear view so...so far so good

there are a number of things about this range that disappoint me. First, the control panel is not very user friendly and feels very cheaply made, the clock does not show the time while the oven is on, the alert is too low to hear unless neat the stove, the cooktop is terrible to keep looking clean, the oven takes so long to preheat, the burners appear to require some time to get use to, the oven racks appear to be flimsy and makes me wonder if they will hold a 20 lbs turkey. The bottom storage space is too small, could have taken a bit away from the oven to give an inch or two to that area.

I love the looks of this range. The oven is large. However, the burners are very HOT. Bacon and pancakes cook on number 3. I can't get it low enough to keep tomato sauce and chili from boiling even on low. I have to put large pots on the small back burners to try to keep them from boiling. There is no "low" even on low.

The product received in February was damaged(appeared to be from the factory not due to delivery handling). The second product was received a month later in March. It was in good condition. All functions seemed to operate. Will have to wait for long-term reliability.
Not necessarily a brand-specific consumer, but now have three relatively new GE appliances in a very humble kitchen.

Replaced our old model JBP78W-Y3WW with this one. Bottom drawer is much narrower and hardly fits any pans. Also once you set the temperature it does not revert back to the clock as the prior model, nor does it easily display the temperature, only the cooking time left. As well, this did not come with a user manual, only installation instructions. Do not want to download an entire user manual.
